Dreamweaver Phaedra is a lovely 6 year old Straight Egyptian Arabian mare
In foal to Bellagio RCA (out of Rhapsody in Black by Alixir), the 2005 Egyptian Event Junior champion colt and at Scottsdale, the largest open Arab show, notably placed 3rd in a class of 30, a rare accomplishment for any SE stallion.
One of only 3 Straight Egyptian mares by Magic Elixir (out of Rhapsody in Black by The Elixir).
Rhapsody in Black (a Thee Desperado daughter out of the Junior Champion black mare, Aliashahm RA) has been an outstanding producer of Class A and Egyptian Event Champions. In 2005 she was the leading dam of champions at the Egyptian Event when her 2 yo son Bellagio RCA was Jr. Champion, and her yearling son, Mirajh RCA, won his class and Rhapsody in Red won R. Champion gelding. At the 2006 Egyptian Event her yearling filly, Bint Rhapsody in Black, won her EBC championship.
On Phaedra's damside are a number of remarkable black athletic individuals.

was chosen over 100 other black stallions for the TV/poster Busch Black stallion commercial campaign
sired Prince Asheem, AERC heavy weight national champion endurance horse
El Mokhtar, the big and beautiful, though rarely seen in SE blood, who was an english pleasure competitor and chosen for the movie "The Black Stallion Returns" not only for his beauty but also for the race scenes.
Phaedra's dam, Curundu Folly, was the black daughter of the black stallion, Curundu Saladin, who sired an Egyptian Event halter winner and other performance champions and has been an endurance competitor.
Phaedra's tail female line includes other such outstanding stallions as the Ansata Ibn Halima son, El Hadiya and the Morafic son, Kayed. And quickly traces back to the Inchass mare Hanaa whose production includes the granddaughter, Bint Bint Hanaa, the U.S. 1975 National Resv. Champion mare.
